To promote the improvement and extension of adequate health service for all persons in the region and to advance the development of effective social work leadership in health care by:
- Promoting educational programs and activities to strengthen and develop social work leadership.
- Consulting and cooperating with hospital/agency/facility administration, allied health care associations, and professional social work organizations in relation to social work in health care.
- Providing a medium for the interchange of ideas and dissemination of material relative to social work leadership.
- Promoting standards and ethics for the delivery of social work in health care settings.
The chapter is organized exclusively for charitable, scientific, and educational purposes. It shall be conducted so that no part of its income or earnings shall inure to the benefit of any member of the chapter.
